TASKS

TASK 1 - Enroll a Windows 10 Device

In this task, you use the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub application to enroll a Windows 10 VM to your Workspace ONE UEM environment.

To perform these following steps you will need to utilize the  Windows 10 laptop, desktop or virtual machine that you were requested to provide. You will also need your Workspace ONE UEM Console Username and Password.   i.e., [email protected]

  1. Login to the Windows 10 machine that you provided
  2. In Chrome, navigate to https://getwsone.com/ and click Download Hub for Windows 10
  3. Install the downloaded VMware Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub to the operating system

    Note:  After the file is downloaded, go to the  download folder (or the folder you selected) and install the application.
  1. After the application finishes downloading and installing, launch the application from the Windows Start menu and enter your Workspace ONE UEM enrollment information:
    • Email or Server Address: [#######].creedtek.com i.e, [email protected]
    • Click Next.

      The Enter Your Credentials page opens.
  1. Enter your user credentials:
    • Username: [#######].creedtek.com i.e, [email protected]
    • Click Next
    • Password: [your UEM Console password]
    • Click Sign In
    • Will say Enrolling Device for a few minutes
  2. Click I Understand on Privacy Matters Screen
  3. Click Done on Congratulations Screen
  4. Click I Agree on next screen
  5. You will now be at the Welcome to Creedtek screen. You are done as Apps continue to install.
  1. Login to the Workspace One UEM Console (ws1.creedtek.com) and verify your device has registered and Apps are assigned
TASK 2 - (Optional) Enroll an Android Device

In this (optional) task, you enroll an Android Device with the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app.

This is an optional task which is not intended to be performed on your corporate or personal device

  1. On your device, open Google Play:
    • Search for Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub
    • Download the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub application.
  2. Start the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub app, you are prompted to enter an Email address or server, you enter your Workspace ONE UEM environment information provided to you :

    [xxxxxx].awmdm.com

    Note: If you are prompted to Allow Hub to make and manage phone calls, click Allow.
  3. Click Next.
  4. You are then prompted to enter the Group ID for your Workspace ONE UEM environment.
    Enter the Group ID of your top-level OG, [your-lastname].
  5. Click Next.
  6. Enter your user credentials:
    • Username: [#######].creedtek.com i.e, [email protected]
    • Password: [your UEM Console password]
  7. Click Sign In
  8. Click Next.
    The Set Up work profile dialog box opens.
  9. (Optional) If you are prompted with the Privacy terms, click I Understand and I Agree.
  10. Configure the settings:
    • Click Accept to accept the Terms and Conditions.
    • Click Next.
      The Set Up work profile dialog box opens.
    • Click OK.
  11. Depending on your Android device model, you might be prompted to encrypt your device before you can complete enrollment. Android Enterprise requires all Android devices that register with Android Enterprise to be encrypted:
    • • If your Android device was preloaded with Android 6.0+, it is by default encrypted. As such, you do not receive a device encryption prompt during the activation process.
    • • If your Android device was preloaded with a version earlier than Android 6.0, you receive the device encryption prompt during activation.
  12. The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub application registers your Android device with Android Enterprise and then finishes enrolling devices.
  13. After the enrollment is finished, you are redirected to the Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub application. The Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub application shows device enrollment information.
  14. Tap Home on your Android device.

Note: The Android home menu now has a folder called Work. All the mobile apps inside this folder have an orange briefcase icon. Work is an Android Enterprise folder that separates your work resources from personal resources.

The managed Workspace ONE Intelligent Hub mobile application is also in this folder.
